Day 1 of the casserole week (Pizza Pasta)

Was a major bust- but only because I told my Dh on our way home from school that I was making a casserole tonight. He said he was "starving" and promptly made a frozen pizza upon arrival home! Grsh I was mad but oh well!

I was saving this casserole for a day when I didnt want to cook, but oh well, I will post it tonight because it was SOOOOOO yummy!

Pizza casserole (by Selissa from Forever and a day http://www.forevrandaday.blogspot.com)
1 box of small shell noodles
1 lb. of beef
sliced olives
1 can of tibit pineapple
1 cup Shredded cheese
spaghetti sauce
and anything else you would use for pizza toppings.

Brown Beef, salt and pepper
Cook the noodles for about 1-2 min less than the box says.

Mix all the ingredients together. This usually makes about 2 9x13 pans for us. Yummy leftovers! Sprinkle cheese on top and cover with foil. Cook in oven on 350 for about 15-20 min. For the last 5 min take the foil off and let the cheese melt. Take out an enjoy. If it gets a little dry you can pour some more warmed up spaghetti sauce on top.

I made a few modifications- I didnt have shells, so I just used the curly noodles. I put in olives, pineapple and pepperoni! It was super yummy! DH ate it for 3 meals straight and Bailey loved it too!! Thanks Selissa it was delicious!!

The easiest lasagna you will ever make!

I got a lot of stuff done today- I even made dinner! SO I decided to share one of my super cheap, super easy and super yummy recipe's!

Lasagna roll ups

1 lb hamburger browned
1 can spagetti sauce
1 tub cottage cheese
2 cups motserella cheese
3 heaping tablespoons parmasean cheese
10-14 lasagna noodles boiled and ready

Mix the hamburger and the sauce in a bowl. Drain noodles and set aside. (can be adente) Mix all cheeses together in another bowl. In a large glass caserolle dish lay out noodles one at a time and do this- Spread big spoonfuls of sauce mixture on noodles, then top with cheese's. Roll up starting at bottom adn being sure to keep contents inside. Move to the top of dish. Continue with all noodles! Take extra sauce and spread on top of noodles. Sprinkle extra cheese on top of that! Cook in over at 350 until bubbly and hot!

(I like to make mine up in the morning and put in fridge until half hour before we want to eat. Simply pop into oven before tunring it on to preheat (we dont want a broken glass caserolle! lol)

These can also be put into the microwave 1 or 2 at a time because it is all completely cooked! We just like ours crispy!

Vuallah! Let me know what you think if you try it!

Happy Superbowl!!!!

To my family, the superbowl is more of a holiday than some of the others.... Since my hubby and I have known each other we have thrown a big superbowl party every year! We always make sure to take a picture of the two of us to see how we have changed from year to year! It is a really fun tradition! So here they are- for your viewing pleasure!!About a month after we got engaged. That is my best friend Brandi next to us. We had the party at another friends house, but I made mini pizzas, lil smokies and dip for everyone.First year married- we had a HUGE BBQ with a bunch of our friends. We even decorated the entire house and our cars- I am a huge Colts fan and this was the year they won it all!Last year we partied by ourselves..... I was due in 3 days and we were hopeing the entire time she would come on SuperBowl Sunday! We were so happy the giants won!!Here we are this year! We decided to save some money and just jump parties today- but I did make a contribution to the cause......
