The sign of a long weekend....

The back seat in the car is folded down, the laundry is still in the washing machine, the power on the DVR is off, and for some reason the bed is unmade..... Sure signs of a long weekend!

We headed to the in-laws house this weekend. I had a blast, even though we didnt do anything! I LOVE my MIL, she is the best! We even went fabric shopping, something I havnt done in a LONG time- but hey, the kids need new bedding, so off we went to see what they had! You know when you have something in your head that would be perfect, then nothing quite matches that image... oh well, I still have 4-10 months to look.....

Why so long you might ask- well my husband will be moving back 'home' 3 1/2 hours away (Our normal Summer residence) to work this summer. Why do I say HE is moving? Well because I will be exactly 9 months pregnant and im honestly not sure how I feel about that.... The hospital up here is awesome. I also have my own bed and own house up here- I dont have a house down there, but I do have a slightly crappier version of my own bed... (although the sheets have needed washing for a LONG time now...) So I guess I have a lot of thinking ahead of me..... I know in the end I will most likely end up down there, im just not sure what I think about it all- what would you do?

  1. I'd go with him because being a single parent isn't anything I would do willingly. I'm sure you would be just fine on your own for the summer, but honestly it doesn't sound enjoyable at all to me.

  3. You will do what is right for you. I understand the bed thing and the doctors and such, that is how I felt in Washington all alone. If he leaves you home it won't be for that long and then you can go right down after the baby is born. Let's face it at least newborns sleep a lot. Good luck and don't worry, it will all work out.
